Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospital team. Under RN supervision, you provide delegated age-appropriate care, assist with basic nursing skills, and may perform continuous safety observation on assigned shifts.

Minimum High School diploma preferred; State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification required (or active enrollment in a nursing program with documentation). BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification required, or enrolled in a nursing program with documentation from an accredited school.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides delegated age-appropriate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assists patients with tasks related to basic nursing skills, personal care, and basic restorative services.
• May provide continuous safety observation and reports to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager on duty.
