Job summary

Avera's Aberdeen facility is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide direct, personal care to residents in the skilled nursing unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and document care given in accordance with care plans.

Day shift, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with every other weekend and holidays. Earn a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment and receive paid training plus certification costs covered if needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) licensure required within 120 days.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Less than 1 year related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and activities of daily living as assigned.
• Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and changes in condition.
• Assist with mobility, bathing, grooming and daily routines; ensure safety and comfort.
• Keep unit clean and organized; restock supplies as needed; follow infection control policies.
• Communicate with nursing staff about patient needs and care plans.
