Job summary

HiredFirst in New York 13165 is seeking a full-time CNA to provide direct care to residents in a long-term care setting. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, mobility, safety, and documentation of care in a supportive team environment.

Position requires BLS certification and a minimum of 1 year CNA experience in long-term care, along with a high school diploma or GED. Every other weekend and holidays are required; orientation starts on Tue or Thu.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living: hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding.
• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and ROM exercises.
• Take and document vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and respond to call lights.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and maintain resident rights and confidentiality.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation per facility guidelines.

Location: New York 13165
Pay: $813 – $925/week
Schedule: Full Time, 5x7.5-hour shifts (37.5 hours/week)
Shift Options: Day and/or Evening rotations
Requirements: Every other weekend & holidays required
Note: Must be able to start full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
