Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain documentation of resident care and services.
• Assist with meal service and monitor residents during meals.
• Ensure rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and organized.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
