Job summary

Santa Cruz Post Acute in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time shift coverage. You will assist residents with daily activities, work with nursing staff to maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and provide compassionate, resident-centered care.

Starting pay is $23.00–$26.00/hour with DOE, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for ongoing training and growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Deliver compassionate, resident-focused care that promotes independence and dignity.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and other observations.
• Support meal service and ensure proper hydration.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident spaces.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team on both clinical and non-clinical tasks.
