Job summary

Santa Cruz Post Acute is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our full-time care team in Santa Cruz. You will provide hands-on support to residents, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Deliver resident-focused care that promotes independence and dignity.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights and other observations.
• Support meal service and ensure proper hydration.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident spaces.
• Promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team on clinical and non-clinical tasks.
