Job summary

Tice Valley Post Acute in Walnut Creek, CA is hiring full‑time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a compassionate care team. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour with AM and PM shifts. The schedule is a 4 days on / 2 days off rotation and a supportive work environment.

Qualified CNAs will deliver high‑quality resident care, assist with daily activities, and participate in ongoing education and career advancement opportunities within a team‑oriented facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold current California CNA certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable and resident‑focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high‑quality care according to each resident’s individualized care plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents during meals while promoting proper nutrition and hydration.
• Observe residents and promptly communicate changes in condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Respond promptly to call lights while providing exceptional customer service.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Accurately document care provided and follow all facility policies and procedures.
