Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Designated Nursing Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (DNA/CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care in our skilled nursing community. You will support residents’ clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs aligned with individualized service plans.

Ideal candidates hold an active CNA certification, a HS diploma or GED, and bring strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or senior care preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care based on ISP.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, toileting.
• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.
• Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records.
• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active CNA certification per state regulations

• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times
