Job summary

Emerald-Nursing- is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing facility in Omaha, NE. You will provide high-quality resident care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being under the supervision of the DON.

Responsibilities include daily living activities, mobility assistance, vital signs, documentation, communication with the team, and infection control. Experience in a skilled nursing setting and Nebraska CNA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Current CNA certification in Nebraska is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance with transfers, positioning and safe ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration.
• Document all care in electronic health records and note changes in residents’ conditions.
• Notify nursing staff of changes or concerns in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding and meal preparation; provide companionship to residents.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure quality care.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a clinical healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.

• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.

• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.

• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.

• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.

• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.

• Certifications: Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.
