Job summary

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Assistant to join the Nursing Department on rotating day/night shifts (36 hours per week). This role supports patient comfort and well-being under the supervision of the RN.

Qualifications

• 75-hour CNA course from an accredited program.
• BLS certification is required as an employee.
• Mandatory Reporter training certification is required as an employee.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments within the scope of the CNA duties as directed by the RN.
• Performs basic care tasks under the direction of an RN to maintain comfort and well-being of the patient.
• Monitors vital signs, weight, height, and intake and output as directed.
• Day and night shift hours consisting of 3 12-hours shifts per week. Rotating weekends and holidays.
