The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential patient care to meet the personal, comfort, and rehabilitation needs of patients in Med/Surg. The CNA assists with direct patient care activities, including dressing, bathing, feeding, and mobility support. Responsibilities also include collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens, gathering vital signs, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. CNAs support physicians and nursing staff with patient care as needed and maintain accurate documentation and records. Clear communication with patients, families, and care providers is essential.
