Job summary

St. Johns Health Care Corporation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Part-Time Days, Evenings, and Nights to join our compassionate team. You’ll support residents with daily living activities and meals, while reporting health changes to the nursing staff and maintaining a safe environment.

Experience in senior care is preferred; NYS CNA license and HS diploma are required. We value empathy, teamwork, reliability, and the ability to adapt to weekend rotations and various shifts.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience in complex care and hospital setting

HS degree or equivalent required

Current NYS Certified Nursing Assistant license required

Ability to complete comprehensive nursing orientation

Willingness to work weekends on a rotating basis is required for full/part-time schedules

Required to attend full orientation

May be required to complete assessment via email as part of application process

Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Stands, sits, and walks most of the day. Frequent moving and ability to lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform activities as defined in skills check list.
