Morningside House Towamencin in Lansdale, PA, seeks a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. The role involves administering medications under supervision, documenting accurately, and maintaining medication-related records, to support resident health and comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Certified Medication Technician certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the five rights of medication administration and records all medications.
• May take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Records medication administration in the computer system.
• Observes and reports reactions to a licensed nurse immediately.
• Administers PRN medications per regulations and policy.
• Maintains antiseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Records any changes observed in residents' condition or behavior.
• Submits incident/accident reports within 24 hours.
• Communicates with medical staff and nursing service.
• Supervises care staff in absence of nurses.
• Maintains the Medication Room and liaises with staff.
