Job summary

Morningside House Senior Living in Hanover, MD is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team full-time, part-time, or PRN. The role administers medications under a licensed nurse’s supervision, supports resident wellbeing, and adheres to state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medication Aide certification required.
• Ability to follow physician orders under supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered under supervision.
• Records all medications given in resident charts.
• May take and record vital signs as required by medications.
• Maintains Medication Room and supplies, follows infection control practices.
• Communicates with medical staff and other departments as needed.
• Supervises care staff in absence of nurses.
• Maintains confidentiality and resident rights.
