Morningside House of Towamencin in Lansdale, PA is hiring Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for full-time or part-time roles. You will administer oral and topical medications to residents under nurse supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• May take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Records medication administration in the computer system.
• Observes and reports reactions or side effects to a licensed nurse.
• Administers PRN medications per policy and regulations.
• Maintains infection control practices and universal precautions.
