ECS Limited is seeking a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Staff Project Manager to join our Charlotte field services team. No experience is required as you’ll learn how to manage projects under the guidance of senior staff.

Responsibilities include daily report review, budget management, invoicing, change orders, and assisting with proposals. Opportunities exist to advance as you gain licensure and certification in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in construction materials testing or related field.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Construction/Materials related field; some programs may not be considered as per listing.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Willing to obtain advanced licensure (EIT, PE) to support growth.
• Interest in project management, consulting, and business development.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Solid understanding of heavy construction safety practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with CMT principles and ASTM laboratory standards.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Support management of construction materials testing projects, including daily report review and collaboration with senior staff.
• Prepare invoices, change orders, and assist with collection efforts; manage project budgets.
• Assist with preparation of project proposals.
• Assist with laboratory testing, soil classification, and testing of soils, foundations, structural elements, and asphalt pavement as needed.
