Job summary

Intertek's Professional Services Industries team in Charlotte, NC seeks a Project Manager for Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection. You will lead field engineering, data analysis, and reporting for diverse commercial projects in the greater Charlotte area.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of CMT/SI experience, NC PE license or ability to obtain, strong communication and business development skills, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years' experience in construction materials testing and inspection.
• North Carolina P.E. license or ability to obtain in state of employment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis and fieldwork for various projects.
• Assist with project management and reporting.
• Field inspection, sampling and testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
