Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living's Greenwich Farm in Warwick is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician for 2nd shift, part time. The role focuses on delivering resident care in a warm, home-like setting and ensuring safe medication administration under supervision.

The CMT will communicate with the Resident Care Director, document drug administration and changes in resident status, and participate in trainings and competency reviews.

Qualifications

• Must have state Medication Technician License and competency per state protocol.
• Complete medication technician competency review quarterly.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Complete a state approved training course in drug administration.
• Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have completed CHHA/homemaker training.
• High School education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates questions and discrepancies related to medication administration to the RCD.
• Notifies RCD of significant change of mental or physical status of resident.
• Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.
• Documents/prn meds and related notifications.
• Assist in prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
