Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician for the 2nd shift on a part-time basis at our Warwick community. The role focuses on accurate medication administration, resident monitoring, and clear communication with the Resident Care Director to ensure safe care in a warm, home-like setting.

You will complete state-approved training and quarterly competency reviews, maintain MAR documentation, and participate in safeguarding residents from abuse or neglect

Qualifications

• Must have state Medication Technician License and competency in accordance with the state-approved protocol in drug administration.
• Successfully complete medication technician competency review (as supervised by RN / RCD) quarterly.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• The Medication Technician must complete a state approved training course in drug administration and receive a certificate of satisfactory successful completion.
• Med-Techs will be evaluated on their competency by the RCD each quarter.
• Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program.
• High School education preferred.
