Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team. The CMT will deliver care to residents in a warm, home-like environment and communicate medication-related questions to the Resident Care Director.

Requirements include a state Medication Technician License, quarterly competency reviews, CPR certification or the ability to obtain within six months, and current CNA or CHHA certification. High School education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have state Medication Technician License and demonstrate competency in accordance with the state-approved protocol in drug administration.
• Successfully complete medication technician competency review quarterly.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Med-Techs will be evaluated on their competency by the RCD each quarter.
• Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program.
• High School education preferred.
