Job summary

ECS Limited in Allentown seeks a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Assistant Staff Project Manager. No prior experience is required; you will learn under experienced staff while performing field tasks with guidance, and begin to understand the life cycle of projects.

You will assist with field testing of soils, aggregates, and concrete, document observations, and collaborate with clients and team members as you develop essential CMT and PM skills.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Degree with ability to obtain licensure (PE/PG) in the future.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Interest in project management, consulting, and business development.
• Fundamental knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist field tasks on CMT projects; some office work as learning progresses.
• Perform field testing of soils, aggregates, foundations, and concrete-related materials.
• Document site observations and results in daily reports using proprietary CMT software.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients; attend project meetings as requested.
• Learn to classify soil and understand project life cycle stages.
