Job summary

Aspire Senior Living Joplin is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to administer medications and assist residents under licensed nursing supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, compassion, and teamwork in everyday resident care.

The CMT will support daily living activities, document treatments, and collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with weekend rotation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Active certification as a Medication Technician (CMT) in Missouri
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, push, or pull, and work varied shifts including weekends/holidays

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ordered by licensed nursing staff
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Document medications and treatments in accordance with policies
Communicate with licensed staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
