Forbes Advisor is seeking a CMS Operations specialist in the United States to manage content across business areas, ensure timely publishing, and apply best CMS practices in WordPress and other platforms.

You will troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and support the creation and syndication of slideshows while maintaining content quality and SEO alignment. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant CMS/content experience.
• Proficiency with WordPress, AEM, or similar CMS platforms.
• Expertise in WordPress advanced content authoring features.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and update digital content across assigned business areas, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Manage tasks independently, prioritizing based on deadlines and business requirements.
• Use WordPress and other CMS platforms to implement page components, templates, and content changes, applying CMS best practices.
• Identify issues, troubleshoot CMS problems, and report findings with clear details for resolution.
• Suggest improvements to CMS workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Support testing of WordPress and other CMS updates, new templates, and workflow enhancements.
• Build and publish slideshows in WordPress for syndication across external platforms, ensuring platform-specific formatting and quality guidelines.
• Coordinate with teams to maintain publishing schedules and resolve syndication issues.
• Review content for formatting, accuracy, page structure, SEO requirements, and CMS guidelines; resolve issues before publishing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve content implementation issues.
