Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a CMP Installation Technician to deploy CMP equipment with a strong safety-first approach. You will coordinate with vendors, equipment technicians, and facilities personnel to ensure installations meet specs and timelines.

The role requires a 2-year degree or technical training, semiconductor facility experience, and proficiency in MS Office plus strong written and verbal communication. On-site, with competitive benefits and total rewards.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree or technical degree (Associates degree or equivalent related Military experience).
• Experience working in Semiconductor/High Volume Manufacturing Facilities.
• CMP Semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, WORD, PowerPoint and possess technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the installation of semiconductor equipment and fabrication facilities.
• Demonstrate an understanding of installation procedures.
• Lead and execute installation safely, and able to respond to problems positively and determine root cause quickly, document and develop countermeasure to prevent reoccurrence.
• Take ownership of assigned projects
• Share successful insights with the installation team and mentor junior members as needed.
