Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CMP Process Engineer to lead cross-functional teams focused on process and equipment optimization for assigned toolsets. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality output, timely product flow, and the development of next-generation processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as JMP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for process capability and control.
• Own both process and equipment performance for assigned CMP tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Develop, configure, and document processes for new equipment installations.
• Drive equipment performance to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Investigate and resolve process and equipment excursions using structured Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methods.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field. More than 10 years' experience.
• PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience with structured problem-solving methodologies and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as JMP.
• Experience with Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) systems in CMP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an equipment owner for CMP tools.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).

This role offers an annual compensation range of $110,000 to $165,000 plus benefits.
