Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Lead CMMS deployment and adoption, including mechanic training, mobile access, and standardization of work orders.
• Maintain data integrity and asset-level history, capturing labor, costs, spare parts and maintenance activities.
• Partner with IT on technical support while retaining business ownership of CMMS functionality, data, and user practices.
• Support CMMS software evaluation and deployment planning for the chosen platform.
• Own maintenance and reliability reporting including PM compliance, backlog, repeat failures, and cost-to-maintain metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analysis to identify repeat failures and optimize spare parts stocking.
• Provide ongoing user support, training, and accountability across both facilities.

Job description

Overview

The CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Manager supports the Hermitage Cone and Cookie facilities and reports to the Director of Operations. The position serves as the in-house CMMS super user, owning system functionality, data integrity, user discipline, reporting, and ongoing management rather than IT infrastructure or application maintenance. Key responsibilities include maintaining the asset hierarchy and PM library, ensuring work order and spare parts discipline, and providing reliability reporting to support the weekly operating cadence. The role will initially focus on accelerating CMMS deployment and user adoption before transitioning to long-term ownership, continuous improvement, and analysis of repeat maintenance issues to drive equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own CMMS implementation and configuration across both plants, including building/establishing asset hierarchy, equipment registry, and criticality rankings, migrating existing PM schedules, configuring work order fields to capture labor and cost, establishing user access, and confirming system functionality
• Lead CMMS deployment and adoption, including mechanic training, mobile access, transition from paperwork orders, and establishment of consistent work order standards and system discipline
• Maintain data integrity and asset-level history, ensuring labor, costs, spare parts, and maintenance activities are accurately captured and linked to the appropriate assets and work orders
• Partner with IT on technical support and system maintenance while retaining business ownership of CMMS functionality, configuration, data, and user practices/permissions
• Support CMMS software evaluation and implementation decisions, including configuration, data migration, and deployment planning for the selected platform
• Own maintenance and reliability reporting, including PM compliance, backlog, repeat failures, and cost-to-maintain metrics used in the weekly operating cadence
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, identifying repeat failures, high-cost assets, and repair-versus-replace opportunities while using CMMS data to inform spare parts stocking and min/max levels
• Provide ongoing user support, training, and accountability, building mechanic engagement and sustaining consistent CMMS use across both facilities

• Position is intermittently sedentary during office and admin-based tasks, however the employee will also intermittently have to stand on their feet and/or walk 4+ hours per day.
• Must be able to learn and effectively use software and programs utilized by the department and company
• Must be able to travel occasionally

Qualifications

• Secondary Education (Bachelor’s or Technical/Associate’s Degree) Required
• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or maintenance experience
• Minimum 5 years working with a CMMS / EAM platform, including administration or super-user ownership
• Experience building asset hierarchies, PM libraries, and spares-to-asset linkage
• Practical maintenance and reliability knowledge — PM strategy, failure modes, repair vs. replace evaluation
• Experience driving system adoption with a mechanic workforce
• Reporting experience across PM compliance, backlog, repeat failure, and cost to maintain
• Computer proficiency required with strong background in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills

Pay Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
