Directs, organizes, plans, and assigns activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment to ensure production operations. Directs installation of, modification to, and maintenance activities on the physical structures of buildings and building equipment such as heat, electric, gas, and air by performing the following duties personally or through assistant personnel. Responsible for the implementation of all policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to maintenance of department personnel. Frequent contacts with all internal departments, and with service and supply of companies, contractors, and outside engineers and other personnel. Responsible for coordinating and maintaining overall facility upkeep and maintenance operations.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of supervisory and non‑supervisory personnel. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, coaching, and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent field preferred; five plus years’ experience in a machining, manufacturing, production environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong skills in work planning and scheduling. CNC controls, CNC maintenance, and machining experience preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics for a variety of audiences.
Ability to comprehend and apply the principles of advanced mathematics and statistical theory. Ability to work with complex mathematical and statistical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
