Job summary

The Michigan Milk Producers Association is seeking an experienced CMMS Administrator to join our Constantine, MI facility. The CMMS Administrator will lead the implementation of a CMMS, collect asset data, maintenance histories, and set up the R&M inventory to support reliability and operational excellence.

Working with Plant Engineers and Maintenance Managers, you will optimize PM schedules, configure the system, train users, and generate maintenance metrics to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, and maintenance planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• CMMS implementation or administration experience preferred (examples include Maximo, PMC, PMX, SAP PM, or similar systems).
• Strong understanding of maintenance management principles, preventive maintenance practices, and asset management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Six Sigma training or certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support CMMS implementation, including system configuration, data migration, and user training.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements and processes.
• Collect and organize asset information, including specifications and maintenance history.
• Gather PM schedules and procedures from OEMs and internal sources.
• Set up and categorize inventory within the CMMS.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for CMMS users.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for CMMS users.
• Monitor CMMS performance and user engagement; report to management.
• Generate reports on maintenance metrics, asset performance, and inventory levels.
