Job summary

Michigan Milk Producers Association in Constantine, MI, is seeking an experienced CMMS System Administrator to lead the rollout of a computerized maintenance management system. You will collect asset data, integrate PM schedules, and configure inventory within the CMMS to support reliability and production goals.

Collaborating with Plant Engineers and maintenance teams, you will optimize maintenance processes, provide training, and generate reports to inform management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or related discipline preferred.
• CMMS implementation or administration experience preferred (e.g., Maximo, PMC, PMX, SAP PM).
• Strong understanding of maintenance management principles and asset management.
• Experience with data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the CMMS, including system configuration, data migration, and user training.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and define system requirements and processes.
• Collect and organize asset information, including specifications, maintenance history, and operational data.
• Gather preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures from OEMs and internal sources.
• Set up and categorize inventory, including spare parts and consumables, within the CMMS.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure effective utilization of the CMMS.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for CMMS users.
• Work closely with Plant Engineers, Maintenance Managers, and project teams to align maintenance strategies and practices.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to promote reliability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor CMMS performance and user engagement, providing regular updates to management.
• Generate reports on maintenance metrics, asset performance, and inventory levels to support decision-making.
• Partner with the Maintenance Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Optimize preventive maintenance schedules to align with production requirements and minimize downtime.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and innovation from maintenance staff and operators.
• Stay current on industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends in maintenance management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
