The Michigan Milk Producers Association is seeking an experienced CMMS Administrator to join our Constantine, MI facility. The CMMS Administrator will lead the implementation of a CMMS, collect asset data, maintenance histories, and set up the R&M inventory to support reliability and operational excellence.

Working with Plant Engineers and Maintenance Managers, you will optimize PM schedules, configure the system, train users, and generate maintenance metrics to guide decisions.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory control, and maintenance planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • CMMS implementation or administration experience preferred (examples include Maximo, PMC, PMX, SAP PM, or similar systems).
  • Strong understanding of maintenance management principles, preventive maintenance practices, and asset management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Six Sigma training or certification is strongly preferred.

Position Summary

The Michigan Milk Producers Association is looking for an experienced CMMS Administrator to join our team in our Constantine, MI facility. The CMMS Administrator will play a crucial role in the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) at the facility. This position will be responsible for collecting asset information, preventive maintenance data from OEMs, and setting up the R&M inventory within the CMMS.

The CMMS Administrator will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of the system, enhance maintenance efficiency, and support operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of the CMMS, including system configuration, data migration, and user training.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and define system requirements and processes.
  • Collect and organize asset information, including specifications, maintenance history, and operational data.
  • Gather preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures from OEMs and internal sources.
  • Set up and categorize inventory, including spare parts and consumables, within the CMMS.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure effective utilization of the CMMS.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for CMMS users.
  • Work closely with Plant Engineers, Maintenance Managers, and project teams to align maintenance strategies and practices.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to promote reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor CMMS performance and user engagement, providing regular updates to management.
  • Generate reports on maintenance metrics, asset performance, and inventory levels to support decision-making.
  • Partner with the Maintenance Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Optimize preventive maintenance schedules to align with production requirements and minimize downtime.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and innovation from maintenance staff and operators.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends in maintenance management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or a related discipline preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical hazards
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
