Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Quality Inspector - CMM to support repair and supply of pump components for the nuclear industry under Safety-Related and ASME QA programs. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Customers, and Plant Management to ensure products meet engineering and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on mechanical inspection in manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings and GD&T for rotating equipment and precision components.
• Experience handling non-conformances and quality systems.
• Proficient with CMMs, hardness testers, surface plates, and related tools.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to quality records.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet delivery goals.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document incoming, in-process, and final inspections with calibrated equipment including CMMs.
• Review and ensure quality documentation supports shipments and customer requirements.
• Verify conformance to drawings, specs, procedures and instructions.
• Maintain inspection status, material traceability, and identification throughout production.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions per procedures.
• Inspect purchased materials for compliance with POs and specs.
• Maintain accurate quality records and support timely delivery.
• Assist training and mentoring of inspection personnel and maintain certifications.
