Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector in Merritt Island, FL, to perform detailed inspections of manufactured parts and ensure compliance with specifications. The role features a C-Shift, Friday to Sunday, 5 AM–5 PM, with emphasis on CMM operations and quality control.

You will program and modify inspection routines using PC-DMIS or Calypso, read engineering drawings, document findings, and contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CMM certification or demonstrated competency preferred.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CMM to measure parts and verify tolerances.
• Create, modify, and optimize CMM inspection programs.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to guide inspections.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using CMM and other tools.
• Document inspection data and prepare reports.
