Job summary

Durex Industries is seeking a Quality Control Programmer in Massachusetts to create, test, and maintain automated CMM inspection programs for complex machined parts and thermal assemblies. You will ensure conformance to drawings, GD&T, and ISO 9001 standards while collaborating with Quality Engineers, Machinists, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in offline/online CMM programming within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment (thermal, aerospace, industrial equipment, or precision metal fabrication preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in major CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Zeiss CALYPSO, MCOSMOS, or PolyWorks).
• Expert knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprint interpretation.
• Strong familiarity with precision hand metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators).

Responsibilities

• Create, test, and maintain automated CMM inspection programs using 3D CAD models and 2D engineering prints.
• Design, select, and assemble fixtures and styli configurations for diverse component geometries.
• Perform initial dry runs to ensure offline/online CMM programs operate safely and efficiently without probe collisions.
• Execute First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product layouts per requirements.
• Interpret GD&T specifications to verify part conformance and analyze measurement data.
• Analyze measurement data, generate non-conformance reports, and collaborate to resolve trends.
• Train and mentor CMM operators on program execution, calibration, and measurement best practices.
