Job summary

Divergent is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to ensure precision and quality of manufactured components in a high‑mix environment. You will develop and optimize PC-DMIS programs, perform hands-on measurements, and interpret GD&T to guide manufacturing improvements.

You will collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues and help advance automated inspection processes, all while complying with aerospace/defense standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in CMM programming and metrology within a precision or high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Expert-level skill with PC-DMIS and Hexagon CMM systems (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and its application to complex 3D geometries.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS on Hexagon systems to inspect precision components.
• Perform hands-on CMM operation and dimensional analysis for additively manufactured and machined parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to create accurate measurement strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues and improve manufacturability.
• Support automated and integrated inspection processes connecting metrology data with manufacturing systems.
