Job summary

Durex Industries is seeking a Quality Control Programmer to develop and optimize CMM inspection programs for complex machined parts and thermal assemblies. You will work with Quality Engineers, Machinists, and Production teams to ensure drawings, GD&T, and ISO 9001 standards are met.

The role requires 3+ years of CMM programming experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency in PC-DMIS or equivalent software.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
3+ years in offline/online CMM programming in ISO 9001 environments (thermal, aerospace, industrial equipment, or precision metal fabrication preferred).
Advanced proficiency in major CMM software: PC-DMIS, CALYPSO, MCOSMOS, PolyWorks; strong GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

Create, test, and maintain automated CMM inspection programs using 3D CAD models and 2D prints.
Design and assemble custom inspection fixtures and styli for diverse geometries.
Perform initial dry runs to ensure safe offline/online CMM programming without probe collisions.
Conduct First Article Inspections, in-process inspections, and final layouts per requirements.
Interpret GD&T specifications to verify part conformance and analyze measurement data.
