Job summary

SLPT is a global leader in designing and manufacturing automotive components, including pumps, valvetrain and transmission systems. The team works with PC-DMIS to measure parts, record SPC data, and ensure conformance of production requirements in a fast-paced lab environment.

The position requires CMM programming, GD&T understanding, and CAD familiarity to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read engineering drawings and have CAD familiarity.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge required.
• Experience with PC-Dmis 2017R1 preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to record data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read and write CMM programs and operate CMM equipment.
• Record inspection results and maintain SPC documentation.
• Load parts in fixtures and run the correct CMM program.
• Dispositions parts after measurements and reports are completed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and controlled lab environment.
• Collaborate with team and customers on quality and cost improvements.
