Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances precisely.
• Proficiency with measuring devices such as calipers and multimeters.
• Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMMs using Calypso and Polyworks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and plan inspection procedures.
• Inspect forgings, die blocks and electrodes for conformance to specs.
• Measure dimensions, calculate angles and verify tolerances.
• Record customer approvals and maintain accuracy of data files.
• Assist in gauge calibration and certificate preparation per NIST.
• Perform gauge R&R studies and support quality improvements.
