Job summary

You will work with CNC milling and lathe processes, transfer CAD/CAM data, use a forklift and overhead crane, and document all job activities on the tracking form. Prior setup experience required.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up CNC milling and lathe operations.
• Ability to transfer CAD/CAM data to machine control and generate CAM data.
• Performs routine maintenance on machines and tools.
• Follows job tracking forms and documents processes.
• Operates forklift and overhead crane as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and load CNC milling programs; ensure dies are secured.
• Set up cutters and verify depth/width and tolerances.
• Sharpen cutting tools when needed; grind tools as required.
• Program CAM data and transfer CAD/CAM data via DNC.
• Start machine processes and monitor for proper operation.
