Job summary

Divergent is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to ensure precision and quality of manufactured components in a high-mix environment. You will develop PC-DMIS programs on Hexagon systems, perform hands-on CMM operation, and translate complex drawings into reliable measurement strategies.

You will collaborate across engineering, machining, and quality teams to optimize processes, integrate metrology with manufacturing, and advance automated inspection capabilities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in CMM programming and metrology.
• Expert-level skill with PC-DMIS and Hexagon CMM systems (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and interpreting complex 3D geometries.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot metrology-related manufacturing challenges.
• Experience with standard precision tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS on Hexagon systems to inspect precision components.
• Perform hands-on CMM operation and dimensional analysis for additively manufactured and machined parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to create repeatable measurement strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues.
• Support development of automated and integrated inspection processes linking metrology data with manufacturing systems.
