Job summary

Footprint in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a CMM Operator/Programmer to join our quality-driven team. You will operate Hexagon CMMs, program with PC-DMIS, and perform dimensional inspections to ensure parts meet GD&T and CAD specifications.

This hands-on role partners with Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Manufacturing to analyze data, drive continuous improvements, and document results. A strong metrology background and proficiency with measurement software are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CMM/metrology experience.
• Ability to read GD&T, engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Proficiency with Hexagon CMM equipment and PC-DMIS software.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hexagon CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections.
• Create, modify, and run CMM programs using PC-DMIS.
• Set up fixtures, probes, and equipment for inspection.
• Analyze measurement data and prepare inspection reports.
• Support root-cause investigations and continuous improvement.
