Job summary

Footprint is seeking a CMM Operator/Programmer in Gilbert, AZ to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of our products. You will operate and program Hexagon CMMs, develop PC-DMIS inspection programs, and analyze data to support engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of CMM/metrology experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant CMM/metrology experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Strong GD&T knowledge.
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS software.
• Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hexagon CMMs to perform accurate dimensional inspections.
• Create and modify CMM programs using PC-DMIS.
• Set up parts, fixtures, probes, and equipment for inspection.
• Review inspection results and communicate findings to Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Maintain CMM programs and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve inspection methods and data quality.
