Job summary

Lingo Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Quality CMM Programmer / Metrology Specialist for the second shift in Charlotte, NC. This hands-on role focuses on CMM programming, dimensional inspection, FAI, and maintaining measurement systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong GD&T skills, experience with PC-DMIS or similar software, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. You will work across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience, including CMM programming.
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Experience with CMM software and metrology workflows.

Responsibilities

• Program, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize CMMs and metrology software.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T to develop inspection plans.
• Perform FAIs, layouts, and inspections of all parts.
• Prepare inspection reports and calibrate measurement equipment.
• Investigate quality issues and drive corrective actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide training on inspection methods and measurement techniques.
• Support ISO 9001 quality systems and continuous improvement.
