Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Stuart, FL is seeking a CMM Operator/Inspector to set up, program, and operate CMM equipment for precise material and part inspection. The role supports engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and blueprints with accurate data capture.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PC‑DMIS experience, sharp interpretation of GD&T, and a willingness to train others on CMM technology. Onsite schedule is Mon‑Thu, 5 AM to 3 PM, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of CMM programming experience using PC‑DMIS.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment; aerospace preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates CMM to measure materials and parts per specs.
• Reads blueprints and tolerances; verifies conformance to specs.
• Provides first piece and in‑process data to manufacturing.
• Performs in‑process and final inspections to support production.
• Writes/modifies CMM programs and interprets measurement data.
