Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a full-time Quality Team member to support precision measurement and part verification at our Milan, MI facility. You will read blueprints per ANSI GD&T standards and perform CMM-based layout, log data in MQ1, and assist with PPAP submissions to ensure quality compliance.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or related experience, familiarity with MQ1/QAD databases, and strong skills in SPC, Gage R&R, and inspection of dimensional tolerances.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2+ years’ relevant experience in CMM inspection.
• Experience operating a CMM using PCDMIS or similar software.
• Knowledge of GD&T and statistical methods in quality control.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and GD&T specs per ANSI 14.5.
• Perform direct drive CMM measurements and bench layout.
• Conduct capability studies and gauge R&R.
• Certify check fixtures and log data in MQ1.
• Compare measurements to drawings and flag discrepancies.
• Assist with PPAP submissions.
