Metro Services in Milan, MI seeks a skilled CMM Programmer to read blueprints and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5, program CMMs with PC-DMIS, and perform precise dimensional inspections. The role requires 2+ years of CMM experience and an AA degree or equivalent.

The position offers 1st shift hours with a per diem option, a contingent-to-hire path, and benefits through Metro Services. Strong attention to detail and independent work are essential.

Formación

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience operating CMM equipment using PC-DMIS, or equivalent training.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 standards.
• Experience with bench layout, dimensional inspection, and precision measuring equipment.
• Familiarity with PPAP submissions, visual inspections, quality audits, and part containment.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5.
• Program and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS software.
• Perform dimensional layout using direct-drive CMM and bench methods.
• Compare measurements to tolerances and report discrepancies.
• Support PPAP submissions and maintain quality documentation.
