Job summary

Globe Tech is seeking a CMM Programmer to join our Quality Team in Plymouth, MI. The role involves programming and operating portable CMMs (Keyence XM-5000 & WM-3500) and 3D laser scanning systems, developing PC-DMIS programs, and preparing AIAG/PPAP packages.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CMM programming/operating experience, GD&T proficiency, and familiarity with Datapage for statistical analysis. The position offers full-time technical work in a manufacturing setting with competitive

Qualifications

3 years minimum experience in programming/operating CMM
Proficiency in GD&T interpretation
Proficiency in PC-DMIS software
Experience with inspection equipment such as 3D laser scanner, calipers, micrometers, gauges
Preferred experience with PLEX ERP for inspection records, control plans, measurement data and quality documentation
High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred

Responsibilities

Program and operate portable CMM and 3D laser scanning systems.
Develop CMM programs using PC-DMIS.
Utilize Datapage for statistical analysis.
Provide dimensional layouts and AIAG/PPAP packages.
Support First Article Inspection Reports and nonconforming product investigations.
Review fixtures and gauging for design conformance.
Calibrate measuring equipment and track inventory.
Assist with dimensions of check fixtures from build to customer buyoff.
Coordinate with ISO internal auditor to close CARs.
