W3Global is seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Michigan. You will conduct precision dimensional inspections of complex aerospace components using CMM equipment and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities include programming CMMs with Polyworks, interpreting drawings, and using precision instruments for supplementary measurements. Strong GD&T knowledge and experience in AS9100/ISO9001 environments are desired.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding.
• Offline programming experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Operate and program CMMs with Polyworks to inspect aerospace components.
• Interpret drawings and blueprints to program and measure per specs.
• Use bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for supplementary measurements.
• Perform quality inspections per AS9100, ITAR, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Apply GD&T to verify features and tolerances.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve dimensional discrepancies.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and traceability docs.
• Follow aerospace safety protocols and properly handle tools and devices.
