Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to develop advanced inspection programs and support QA operations for aerospace components.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing inspection, 3+ years CMM programming, and strong GD&T knowledge. Proficiency with CAI, CAD data, Zeiss Calypso or PolyWorks is preferred. Onsite work with second shift options.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare electronic code and detailed inspection instructions for NC inspection equipment.

  • Ensure drawings and CAD data align with CMM methods.
  • Train machinists and quality staff on CMM operation.
  • Resolve CAI/design data compatibility issues.
  • Maintain solid grasp of geometric tolerancing.
