Job summary

Moog is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Test Equipment in Buffalo, NY to design and develop test equipment for space and defense programs. You will lead the design process, validate requirements with program teams, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with production for robust solutions.

Requirements include a BS in engineering, 5+ years, LabVIEW expertise, and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Experience with automation, firmware and NI hardware is highly valued.

This position is responsible for design and development of new test equipment, assemblies, and/or processes to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.You will contribute to the design of test equipment to verify functional performance of products used on military, commercial, and space vehicles. You will plan and conduct efforts requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard and nonstandard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
