Hutchinson is seeking a quality-focused professional in Grand Rapids, MI, to prepare, measure, organize, record, and report on projects, while assisting PPAP and engineering teams with prototype evaluation.
The role demands attention to detail, communication across QA and production, and strong measurement/reporting skills. A mechanical engineering technology associate degree and related experience are required.

Must have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with Quality, Continuous Process Improvement, Product engineering, and other plant and office personnel. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of geometric tolerances, SPC, SAE handbook usage, gage control programs, and quality control procedure.Must understand how to prepare, measure, organize, record and report on projects being measured in a manufacturing environment.
Associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology or equivalent; and two years related experience in theory and application of complex layout and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
